I'm only just getting around to sharing my February pages, although they've been done for weeks.
I love this spread. The photos aren't anything special, but I love the overall look. Vanessa's kit is so gorgeous, I think it could make any content look good!
Nothing too special photo-wise here, either. We did a clothing swap at book club. I was thrilled for the space it cleared out in my closet... but then filled it up again with a shopping trip the same weekend.
I was thrilled when I came across Big City Quiet's It's a Bad Day journalling cards, and love how they look printed on gray card. I think it's really important that my album reflects the good and the bad days. Plus, I'm loving the whole "stamp-on-vellum" technique.
In late February, my best friend took me to see Elizabeth Gilbert speak as part of the Perth International Arts Festival. Eat Pray Love has been my favourite book forever (as evidenced here!), so seeking her speak was pretty much the greatest ever. When I found out that she had another talk the next day at the Writer's Festival, Shane went with me, and I was able to get my book signed as well. So basically it was the best weekend ever.
The cards in the spreads are Becky Higgins Project Life cards. Most of the embellishments are just trimmed-down cards from the Seafoam and Midnight kits.
I have so many Project Life kits, stickers, stamps, embellishments, and ephemera that it's hard to remember where everything is from, so if you have a question any of the specific elements that I haven't mentioned, let me know in the comments and I'll do what I can to track down the source!
